Retreat to the mountains and join us for a weekend of prayer, worship, practical workshops and fun ! Connect with other worship leaders and teams, as we pray and discuss ways to support each other and grow in the ministry of worship in the church.

Workshop topics include:

1. Building, leading and pastoring teams

2. Tools or distractions (Navigating the pros and cons of technology in worship ministry)

3. Holding tension between excellence and inclusion (Making space for inexperienced players)

FAQ

Do I have to be a worship leader to attend?

No, Worship Weekend is intended for any musicians who serve in the church. Whether you're a band member or a team leader, Worship Weekend is for you!

Do I have to register for the full event?

No! You are welcome to come to as much or as little of the event as you can! We have a section on our registration sheet to indicate the meals/overnights that you will be present for.

Where is Island Lake?

Island Lake, is a camp in the Crowsnest Pass. Directions can be found here.

Is this retreat for a specific church?

Worship Weekend is intended for worshippers from any church to connect and learn from each other. Teachings will be delivered in a non-divisive manner with space given for dialogue. A goal of Worship Weekend is to help build unity between churches/individuals.

What do I need to bring?

A packing list is available here (Please bring weather appropriate clothing).
