Are you looking for a way to bring your community closer together and deepen your relationships with one another? Building a sense of community can seem impossible when you only meet once a week. Sometimes the Family of God doesn’t feel much like family.
We believe that building friendships is one of the best ways to build Christian unity, and that's exactly what Island Lake is designed to do. From shared meals, to group activities, to quiet moments of reflection, you'll find that Island Lake is the perfect place to strengthen your relationships with God and one another.
There is a peacefulness to this place, a place where God resides, blesses and encourages. We have many stories of people feeling safe in this place, becoming vulnerable and honest with God and with each other, as lives begin to change.
When I took my first steps at ILCRC, I experienced the peace of God in a way I never had before. My life as a husband, a dad, and a follower of Jesus has been impacted and forever changed because of my time and experiences at ILCRC.
We had some great memories and experiences from our time there. I am certain that we will be back!
Thirty-plus years have come and gone but a few days at camp in the summer is still something to look forward to and cherish. A time to come aside and be refreshed. A time to reflect on the goodness of God.
I'll be forever grateful for the space that this camp gives to Jesus to encounter people in whatever mess they are in. We love the people! They are forever etched deep in our hearts.

Island Lake is an independent parachurch ministry and is not officially connected to any church or denomination. All denominations are welcome as our cause is to advance the unity of the Church through the development of relationships.
While there is cell-phone service, there is not internet or Wi-Fi. If needed, most guests use a personal hot-spot for any internet-related needs.
While our focus is primarily on churches and ministries, we are willing to rent our facilities to other groups. For instance, school groups, large family reunions and youth groups have rented our facility in the past.
