Island Lake Christian Retreat Centre is a registered charity carrying on its operations in the Crowsnest Pass area of Southern Alberta. ILCRC provides facilities and programming to offer spiritual encouragement, community, and activities for individuals and families.
ILCRC is non-denominational, and its membership is comprised of individuals from a varied background of churches. Persons from all walks of life are welcome to attend, including those on a low or limited income. We endeavour to see that no one is turned away because of inability to pay.
By way of specific programming, Island Lake offers community events, camps, and retreat weekends for both single and married people, youth and families, young and old. The facility is available on a year-round basis for use by other groups wishing to put on seminars, workshops, retreats, or camps to the benefit of their community.
Island Lake seeks not to proselytize people from other churches, but rather to strengthen and encourage individuals in their faith and to foster unity across differences that may otherwise lead to division.
