The Investment

Use the pricing calculator to determine an approximate cost for your group to rent the facility. Please note:
• September-June bookings require a $300 deposit (Refundable until 2 months prior to booking)
• July-August bookings require a $1,000 deposit (Non-refundable after April 1)

FAQ

What is the capacity of Island Lake?

Our facility can comfortably accommodate approximately 90 people. Our sleeping quarters are divided into 4 wings of dormitories.
Upstairs:
-2 wings of 8 dorms that can sleep 1-4 people each
Downstairs:
-1 wing with two 9-person dorms and two 6-person dorms.
-1 wing with a 1 person, 6-person, 9-person and 11-person dorm.

Is there parking on-site?

There is adequate room for parking around the facility. We have a number of spots in close proximity and a gravel parking lot in walking distance.

Is bedding provided or should we bring our own?

Bedding is not provided. Guests are responsible for bringing their own freshly-washed bedding with them to use during their stay.

Are food services provided?

Island Lake does not provide catering as a service, however, access to a fully-equipped commercial kitchen is included in your stay. You can either find a cook in you network or we can connect you with a cook who could be willing to cater your event.

Are pets allowed in the building?

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the building.

Is Island Lake affiliated with any particular church or denomination?

Island Lake is an independent parachurch ministry and is not officially connected to any church or denomination. All denominations are welcome as our cause is to advance the unity of the Church through the development of relationships.

Is there cell service, internet or Wi-Fi available at the camp?

While there is cell-phone service, there is not internet or Wi-Fi. If needed, most guests use a personal hot-spot for any internet-related needs.

Do you rent your facility to non-church groups?

While our focus is primarily on churches and ministries, we are willing to rent our facilities to other groups. For instance, school groups, large family reunions and youth groups have rented our facility in the past.
